Kirk Alire has been around horses all of his life while learning the Horse Business from his father Ross V. Alire Sr. Ross Sr. started in the Quarter Horse Business in Western Colorado in 1967 after moving from the Alire Ranch in New Mexico. The ranch had originally been homesteaded in the early 1800's. Ross Sr. started in the industry by breaking, buying, selling, trading and training racing Quarter Horses in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and Utah. He was mainly known for his horse breaking and training abilities, as he broke and trained hundreds of horses for a variety of horse people. He broke and trained racing, and roping, to just plain good old utility horses. Kirk Worked with his father for many years Breaking ,Training, and Shoeing Winning Quarter Horses.

Kirk Has Trained Many Winning and Stake Quarter Horses in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming.
